MINNIE, WILLIAM F. (BILL), devoted husband and father went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2004. Bill was born on April 22, 1946 in Conway, South Carolina. Bill graduated in 1964 from high school in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He received a Business degree from the University of S.C. in 1969 and was a member of the ATO Fraternity. In 1978 Bill moved to Dallas with Duplex Products, (now Relizon), as a Regional Sales Manager and was currently a Sr. Sales Account Representative. Bill was an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church as a deacon and as a Sunday School teacher. Bill's evident love for the Word of God and enthusiastic spirit in worship and service was admired by all who knew him. Bill is survived by his wife, Mickay Hackfield Minnie; his two sons, Ryan and William Minnie; his father, Robert E. Minnie of Dearborn, MI; his sister, Leslie Minnie of Detroit, MI; his brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Rachelle Minnie of Michigan and his cousin, Elizabeth Murphy Milling of Columbia, S.C. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. at Sparkman/Dickey Funeral Home. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church at 6801 W. Park, Plano, TX on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Burial immediately following at Restland Memorial Park.
