Barbara ... Welcome Back! Your life is more enjoyable when she takes a part in it.

Comments:

After receiving my BS in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina, I moved to the NY metro area where I supported corporate entities in the development and operation of communications and information systems. In the 1990, I joined a small business in Washington, DC that provided consulting services to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other federal government agencies. I received my MS degree at George Washington University in 1993 and was a Quality Manager for SAIC. As I phase into retirement, I hope to get work through my small business, Communiqué Solutions, LLC.

School Story:

I always laugh (to myself) when I remember the Talent Show/Extravaganza [What ever??} with the "Leader of the Pack" performed by female singers (with the Leader on a tricycle) and a performance by our own "Singing Nuns", a group of guys in full attire.

Who Was Your Favorite Teacher?

Mrs. Boyd, Advanced Algebra & Trigonometry

Fondest Memories of Myrtle Beach High School:

Myrtle Beach High School and especially Mrs. Boyd, set the framework for my academic achievements and professional career. The teachers and my classmates aways set high standards and also knew how to have fun.
Great year, great memories.

Your Message For The Class:

I left Myrtle Beach in the 8th Grade and returned my senior year. However, my family was at the beach in the summers so I kept in touch with a number of people through those years. It was great to be back in school with the crowd that I attended elementary school with and to have a wonderful senior year.

I hope to hear from you soon.

What Are You Doing Now?:

I live in Washington, DC. I recently formed a woman-owned small business, Communiqué Solutions, LLC. However, due to the current business downturn, I am phasing into retirement while still looking for opportunities.

I love living in Washington, DC where my brother and his family live. In addition to enjoying the parks and the Mall, I frequent the museums, theaters and arts centers and always finds time for yoga classes, reading the latest book club selections, and traveling.
