Theresa Kenny Gaskin, 64, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

Terry was born February 19, 1947, in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Aisley Love Kenny. Her brother, Patrick J. Kenny III pre-deceased her.

She was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and Mars Hill College. Her life long passion was music. She was a former music director at Trinity United Methodist Church in Conway and the First United Methodist Church in Myrtle Beach. She was also a bereavement counselor with Mercy Hospice of Horry County

Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Gaskin, her two daughters, Kerri L. Amerman of Pawleys Island, and Erin E. Gaskin of Denver, Colorado, her sister, Deborah K. Hart of Myrtle Beach, a niece, Keegan Hart, a nephew, Calvin W. Hart III and her beloved lap dog, Murphy.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2012 at All Saints Church in Pawleys Island. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Church, 3560 Kings River Road, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
