TC, Arab, Asia, Ahab, Ultra, Ultra Sculptre, Colby, Tony, or Superman were all names Tony answered to.  A special guy, loved by everyone, was the coolest guy in town.  Everybody hung out with Tony and many spent a night at his house or borrowed some clothing from him.  He was a classy guy and able to mingle with any crowd.  He was a best friend to so many and a very special friend to me.  TC died in 1990, but he lives on in my memories and if you're reading this, in yours too!  I will miss him forever.

I remember Tony Colby as a funny kid. he liked to laugh. and tease: he was quick to say yes to mischief. He was always a sharp dresser too. He had every color there was of alpaca sweaters and Gold Cup socks to match. He was stylish. Colby had a certain glamor about it him. That was when we were young. and there were two places to feel free. one was Tony Colby's house, and the other was Gene's Pool Room. remember at Colby's house on Saturday morning. eating Frosted Flakes. watching cartoons. and plotting some afternoon mischief. Tony had several nicknames. We called him T.C.. of course. also "Baghdad" because he was born there. and "Asia", because somehow we thought Iraq was in Asia. I suppose. T.C.. Baghdad. Asia. he answered to all of those. and probably more. I just can't remember. He was a popular kid. People who liked him gave him new nick names all the time. it seemed like. I miss "Baghdad Tony". He was different. T.C. Asia'' was not like anybody.

Tony Colby was a sport. Summited By Bo Bryan
