Paul Bleckley (1968)

Ernie and I were doubles partners on MBHS tennis team as juniors and seniors.  We were closer than many of our classmates knew during those years.  Ernie had a troubled life after HS, starting with a bad experience in the Army.  He had a great heart and a brilliant mind.  He never could beat me playing tennis during HS, but we had a great re-match in the year 2000.  Ernie beat me hands-down that day and he was so very proud.  It was a great time of reunion and I was so glad we made the effort to get re-united and stay in touch.  Sadly, it was the last time that I saw Ernie.  I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing at our last reunion.  His older sister, Mary Lou, was last known to reside in Columbia, SC.  Hopefully, some of her classmates have her contact information.  If so, sharing how to reach Mary Lou with me would be very appreciated.
